an exchange meeting with focus on the cooperation between huazhong agricultural university and yangxiang was held in yangxiang’s headquarter on november 12^th.  

amid the requirement of high quality development of pig industry, the exchange meeting was aimed to explore the new cooperative direction, deepen the cooperation in the pig industrial chain that integrates feed production, pig production, pig slaughtering and food marketing, and make joint efforts to advance pig industry upgrading.

1、expand the cooperation space in pig industry chain

during the meeting, yao jianglin, deputy secretary of the party committee and vice president of huazhong agricultural university, summarized the cooperative direction in the future between yangxiang and huazhong agricultural university with four words: excellence, pragmatism, profundity and development.  

in the past ten years, the two parties have achieved a series of results in the fields of talent training, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, pig farming, veterinarian, and nutrition. facing the new situation in the future, the cooperation platform must be continuously optimized.

at the time when the public is highly concerned about food health and safety and in the future, both sides need to continue in-depth cooperation, not only to solve today’s problems, but also for future development, and do a good job in knowledge, technology, talent, and achievements. work together and share responsibilities, and further expand the space for cooperation in the entire pig industry chain.

2、preparation for pig industry upgrading

shi liang pointed out that "industry internet" was the key for the transformation and upgrading of the pig industry. after hard work, yang xiang has achieved certain results. for yangxiang, the industrial internet is essentially an improvement of quality and capabilities through intelligent equipment and data platform to support industrial operations, open up the pig industry chain, improve the quality of industrial development, realize the traceability of pig production, and secure food safety.

in the future, from “pig production” to “food marketing”, yangxiang will continue to deepen the cooperation with huazhong agricultural university, strengthen research and development, and provide the public with heathy, safe and delicious food with internet technology. we will also make full use of the scientific and research achievements from the universities in the development of pig industry to benefit the society most.  

mo jinzhi, chairman of yangxiang, also shared with the attendants yangxiang’s current achievements in the industrial internet sector. for example, the multi-floor intelligent pig farm was a very representative result of the cooperation between yangxiang and huahzong. it has been operating stably for more than 3 years. in 2018, the fpf future pig farm intelligent system was officially launched and achieved certain results.

"i believe that in the future, we will continue to deepen cooperation and continue to promote scientific research and innovation, and will surely continue to create greater industrial and social values, and jointly promote industrial upgrading and development," she said. 

3、a new chapter of the cooperation between huazhong agricultural university and yangxiang

after the exchange, the two parties formally signed the "r&d and promotion cooperation agreement on key technologies of healthy, safe and delicious modern food", opening a new chapter in the school-enterprise cooperation between huazhong agricultural university and yangxiang.  

this year marks the 11^th anniversary of the cooperation between yangxiang and huazhong agricultural university. since the cooperation in 2009, the two parties have achieved a series of results in the fields of talent training, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, pig farming, veterinarian, and nutrition. going forward, we will continue to work in the industrial internet of pig industry to contribute to the upgrading and high quality development of pig industry.
