opening ceremony of industry research institute
on november 27th, the huazhong agricultural university, guangxi yangxiang co., ltd. and guangzhou yingzi technology co., ltd. held a signing ceremony for comprehensive strategic cooperation and an agreement for co-construction of an industry research institute at the international exchange center of huazhong agricultural university. the three parties have established strategic cooperation again at this new stage of development in order to promote the high-quality development of the “farm-to-table” industrial chain to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading from pig farming to food consumption.
at the ceremony, shi liang, president of guangxi yangxiang co., ltd., recalled the history of university-enterprise cooperation and highly appreciated both sides’ achievements of cooperation. according to him, with the advent of a “new consumption era” driven by mobile internet and digital technology, yangxiang is sticking to its mission and striving to form a farm-to-table industrial chain supported by industrial internet. he said, “let’s take the opportunity of the healthy food industry research institute to continue to jointly promote the high-quality development of the ‘farm-to-table’ industrial chain to achieve industrial transformation and upgrading from pig farming to food consumption.”

after the signing ceremony, an expert symposium was held under the theme of “yingzi technology—huazhong agricultural university healthy food industry research institute”. at the symposium, an organizational structure and personnel arrangement the research institute were announced; a scheme was released for institute construction and operation; the directors of various each research centers reported the first batch of scientific and technological projects.
it is understood that “yingzi technology—huazhong agricultural university healthy food industry research institute” will be committed to developing new healthy farming technology and modern food technology based on gene engineering, and make food “healthier, safer, tastier and more convenient” on the basis of industry-wide network collaboration and data intelligence”.
